Our Jet Ski (Sea-Doo) GTX & GTI fleet is rated for 600 lbs (272 kg) combined weight 🏋️ — gold standard for stability.
Mandatory Life Jackets & PFD Sizing: 🦺 Rent Our Ski provides all participants with a Transport Canada-approved life jacket (PFD), which must be worn at all times while on the water. — we carry all fitted sizes (children, youth, adults, big, tall, & plus-size) for a safe, secure fit.

Also, it’s required to check-in/arrive 40-minute ‘before‘ your ride time to review the mandatory Operator’s Licence/Permit, Safety Briefing; and Operational Instructions.
As soon as you arrive at OUR LOCATION and parked your car, please “call us immediately” so we can let you know exactly where we are located at the marina.
“Do not text us on arrival” or “try to find us yourself at the marina”, as this will cause you to be late for your scheduled appointment.
Also, during these summer months, we have a very busy schedule. Riders are required to arrive 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure for check-in and safety briefing. Late arrivals cannot be granted extended time. This is a firm policy, so please arrive on time!

Real-Time Fleet Monitoring: 📡 On-water support staff use a live real-time cloud-based GPS tracking system to monitor the exact location, fuel levels, throttle status, engine status, and behavior of every jet ski (sea-doo) simultaneously.
GPS Geofencing:📍We utilize geofencing to automatically limit watercraft speed in “No Wake Zones” or “Restricted Zones.”

On-water Rescue Support Team: 🛟 Our certified, dedicated team provides rapid emergency rescue, safety monitoring, and immediate mechanical assistance for a stress-free rental experience across Toronto, Lake Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

AGE & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

All Jet-Ski Drivers must be 20+ years old 🔞 and possess a valid Driver’s License or Motorcycle License — Ontario (G2, G, M2, M), or Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) to DRIVE the Jet-Ski. Additionally, equivalent Out-of-Province (AB, BC, QC, & more) and International Licenses (USA, Europe, etc.) are also accepted.
Passengers (FREE): 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 No license required (minimum requirements: Age 4+ and 30 lbs / 13.5 kg). Take turns driving — 2nd-driver insurance add-on available on-site (20+ with valid ID).
Valid drivers’ license or motorcycle license must be presented prior to rental.
However, passengers who wish to Take Turns driving must also be at least 20+ years old, also possess a valid Driver’s License or Motorcycle License, and must be listed on the rental agreement.
Transport Canada Regulations require proof of competency for all pleasure craft operators. To rent and drive a Jet-Ski (Sea-Doo) or PWC in Toronto, Ontario & the GTA, a permanent boating license (PCOC) is not required. Instead, we issue a FREE Rental Boat Safety Checklist right on-site, which acts as your legal temporary boating license for the duration of your rental.
FREE temporary boating license (Rental Boat Safety Checklist) will be given to all drivers if you don’t own one.
Rental Boat Safety Checklist Briefing: 📜 You will complete a thorough safety briefing covering — local hazards, life jackets, safety kits, staying clear of swimmers, Jet-Ski Rules for the inner Toronto Harbour, water hazards, weight & capacity limits, buoy markers, signs, Toronto’s 150-metre Motorized Watercraft Exclusion Zones (MWEZ), no wake zones, 100% zero tolerance for drugs & alcohol, weather & wind conditions, safety gear, wildlife, right-of-way rules, non-motorized watercraft rules, and emergency procedures.
Rental Boat Safety Checklist Signing: ✍️ Completing & Co-Signing this document on-site acts as your official temporary boating license for the duration of your ride in Toronto, Ontario, & the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Rental Boat Safety Checklist Validity Limits: ✔️ This document acts as your official temporary legal license (temporary proof of competency), but it is only valid for the duration of your Jet Ski (Sea-Doo) rental in Toronto, Ontario, & the GTA. It cannot be used to drive a privately owned jet ski or any other personal watercraft (PWC) on a different date or day.
Operational Training: 🗣️ Our staff also provides full hands-on training to ensure you are water ready — covering how to start & stop the jet ski (sea-doo), throttle & steering, braking, reversing, engine kill-switch key, machine controls, avoiding collisions, docking, & how to re-board if you flip over the jet ski (sea-doo) or fall off.
Swimming Skills Not Required: 🦺 While not strictly required, riders must be confident on the water. We provide Transport Canada-certified buoyancy life jackets (PFDs) for every rider, ensuring 100% flotation regardless of swimming ability.
Understanding English ⚜️📚🇨🇦 (Instructions En Anglais Seulement | 仅限英文指导) is extremely vital for water safety in Toronto on Lake Ontario & Regional Waterways throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), as all safety and operational instructions are provided in English only. Therefore, for safety reasons, we cannot rent jet-skis (sea-doos) to individuals who do not understand English (Anglais | 英文).

ADDITIONAL CHARGES (if applicable) (A):

In the event that the watercraft is returned later than the time within the rental agreement & If Rent Our Ski Inc. staff is left waiting for you to return to the location agreed upon then additional charges will be charged. To avoid late charges please be on time!

LATE FEE: ⏰ $24.99 at 10 mins | $39.99 every 15 mins (per Jet-Ski). This is firm!

Recovery Service: $499.99 each (In the GTA)
Rock Ingestion: $500-$2000 (depending on damages)
Damaged Gauge Cluster: $1000
Rope Ingestion: $300-$1500 (depending on damages)

** All additional charges must add 13% HST. Additional charges will be deducted from your damage/security deposit.

SECURITY DEPOSIT 🔐:

A $1,000 Security Deposit Pre-Auth Hold (Not A Charge) is required for each rental Jet-Ski (Sea-Doo) in Toronto, Ontario, & the GTA. You may pay using a Credit Card (💳), Cash (💵), or Interac e-Transfer; Please Note: you only pay the security deposit in-person on the actual day of your rental. Upon return a full after damage inspection will be completed with staff and your security deposit will be returned in full immediately if vessel(s) are returned without damages. Customers are responsible for vessel(s) and all equipment supplied during the rental period.
Group Liability & Collective Deposits: For bookings involving multiple Jet-Skis (Sea-Doos), all security deposits within the group are treated as a collective pool of funds. In the event of any damage, mechanical issues caused by negligence (such as debris ingestion), or collisions involving any unit(s) in the group, the security deposits for the entire rental party will be held until a professional damage assessment and repair quote are obtained. Any remaining balance from the total group deposits will be released once the final bill is settled.
Insurance Note: The security deposit remains mandatory even with our insurance to cover deductibles, like lost keys, or damages caused by negligence.
Bank Processing: While we release the hold immediately, please note that your bank may take 3–5 business days to reflect the available limit on your statement.
Every unit will undergo damage ✅ inspection with Rent Our Ski Inc. staff PRIOR & AFTER your rental. The renter must be present at time of inspection. Renters are responsible for any and all damages sustained to rental equipment, persons, or property during rental period. A rental contract and release of liability, waiver of claims, assumption of risks and indemnity agreement must be signed by all renters and their participants 18 year and older.
The Security Deposit does not limit total liability; renters are responsible for the full cost of any severe damage (costs exceeding $1,000) or total loss of the vessel.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

CANCELLATIONS MADE ‘ANYTIME OVER‘ 48 HOURS ‘PRIOR‘ TO RENTAL DATE ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE FOR A 50% REFUND. CANCELLATIONS MADE ‘WITHIN‘ 48 HOURS OF RENTAL DATE WILL FORFEIT FULL RENTAL PAYMENT. NO SHOWS ARE CHARGED IN FULL FOR THE RENTAL PERIOD RESERVED AND THE CONTRACT WILL BE TERMINATED AFTER 1 HOUR FROM THE TIME AGREED.
RENT OUR SKI RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE OR VOID RESERVATIONS AT ANY TIME FOR POLICY VOILATIONS, SEVERE WEATHER; OR TO ENSURE PERSONAL SAFETY OF THE OPERATOR(S) IF THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF OPERATING THE CRAFT SAFELY.
IF YOUR CANCELLATION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND, THEN 2.9% OF YOUR TOTAL WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED BY THE PAYMENT PROCESSOR (STRIPE INC.) FOR PROCESSING THE TRANSACTION. THIS IS FIRM!
All eGift Card sale is final and non-refundable. Your eGift Card will never expire; and may not be resold for cash value.

WHAT IS OUR WEATHER POLICY 🌈:

IF WEATHER IS DANGEROUS (Postpone): 🛑 Rent Our Ski has the right to refuse, limit, or postpone rentals during dangerous weather. This includes sustained high winds, heavy squalls, poor visibility, thunderstorms, lightning, heavy fog, wind gusts over 25 kph (14 knots), or rough wave heights over 0.6 to 0.9 metres (2–3 feet).
IF IT IS DRIZZLING OR CLOUDY (Operate): ✅ Light rain or overcast skies will not normally be a situation that would cancel a rental agreement.
Additionally, if your booking address is within the 5-regions of the Greater Toronto Area (Durham, Halton, Peel, Toronto; or York), then Rent Our Ski will not offer any refund due to inclement weather – this policy is firm! However, in the event you have 1-year from your postponed date to reschedule your ride any time for free.
However, if your booking address is outside the GTA Regions, Out-Of-Province; or International then Rent Our Ski charges a 30% operational fee from your total booking deposit, in the event a refund is requested by the customer due to inclement weather – this policy is firm!

ADDITIONAL POLICIES:

None of the watercraft rented by Rent Our Ski Inc. allows for the legal consumption of drugs & alcohol. In other words, drugs & alcohol use is forbidden and occupants will be charged for such use by the Marine Police.
Only those people who are entered on to the rental contract and who have a boater’s license or have completed the Safety Checklist can operate the PWC.
Rent Our Ski is fully insured against commercial risk. We therefore forbid using our rental jet skis in conjunction with the jet skis, boats; or yachts from any other rental companies, friends, or family members who own their own private jet skis, boats, or yachts in order to be on the water at the same time with our Renters and Jet Skis.
Renter must obey all speed limits, no wake signs and reduce speed close to all shorelines or canal walls. Failure to do so could mean provincial and federal offence by the Marine Police including dangerous operation of a vessel or careless operation of a vessel.
Mandatory safety equipment is included in each rental. Do not remove these from the vessel or PWC unless an emergency happens. There is a personal flotation device for each occupant of the vessel and it is mandatory that they are to be worn properly throughout the use of the vessel.
As an operator in charge of the watercraft you must be attentive at all times to your actions, your guests’ actions and behaviors’, other boaters, swimmers, objects in water, depth of water and changing weather conditions. Renter will have a cell phone on them while renting.
