- ➤ The 2026 Toronto City-Wide Jet-Ski Rental Ban: In compliance with new 2026 city regulations, a CITY-WIDE JET-SKI RENTAL BAN is in effect. Commercial Jet-Ski Rentals across the entire Toronto waterfront — including Woodbine Beach, Cherry Beach, Hanlan’s Point Beach, the entire Humber Bay Shores district, the entire Scarborough district, Marie Curtis Park, and Bluffer’s Beach Park (Scarborough Bluffs) — are all strictly banned for the 2026 summer season pending a 2027 permit pilot. Operating from any public boat ramp, any city park, any city beach, or any private or city owned marina in Toronto is illegal and subject to severe enforcement. As a result, all Jet-Ski Rental operators have temporarily relocated outside city limits to continue serving riders for this 2026 season only.
